The scientific and design department of the “Water for Life” project team is constantly improving the installation in order to increase efficiency.

The project team was faced with the question of solving the problem of large flow restrictions and selecting optimal installation parameters. Through calculations and mathematical modeling, the issue of selecting the optimal diameter of the cavitator (truncated cone) after which a cavitation cavity is formed and the internal diameter of the device for creating water vapor. Pipe insert for the device for creating water vapor was developed that meets all design parameters. From the experimental point of view, the pipe insert was made in two material versions. In the evaporation circuit, a metal pipe insert (stainless steel) will be install in the device, and polymeric materials for pipe insert will be install in the condensate circuit.

The operation of the installation in a single-circuit version, only the evaporation circuit is connected, showed the correct selection of the geometric parameters of the cavitator and the internal diameter of the device for creating water vapor, by installing a metal pipe insert into it.
